A science mindset met a commercial cultivation perspective, and we built a system that serves the cultivation team first. What It Is

Clean is our remediation service that resets a cultivar to a verified, clean baseline. We start with tiny explants,both meristems and micro shoot tips, and grow them under sterile conditions to regenerate Gen-0 plantlets with third-party lab verification. The result is restored vigor, yield, and uniformity, lower risk in foundation stock programs, and a dependable starting point for production.

When To Use It

  • Vigor, yield, or uniformity has declined
  • You are rebuilding a mother room after issues or a reset 
  • You are introducing partner or vendor cultivars into your program 
  • You want a known clean baseline before scaling production or storage

How It Works

  1. Surface disinfection: We wash, disinfect, and rinse the received material, then aseptically prep it for explant excision.
  2. Isolation: We excise meristem and micro shoot-tip explants and place them on sterile initiation media.
  3. Regeneration: Explants advance through staged in vitro media to form fully developed clean plantlets.
  4. Verification: A third-party lab confirms clean status.
  5. Delivery: You receive rooted, verified-clean Gen-0 plantlets; the delivered plantlet format depends on location and program needs.

What It Is

Preserve is our in vitro storage service for verified clean cultivars. We maintain your cultivars off-site in aseptic, highly controlled conditions so they stay healthy, robust, and ready for call-up. Each cultivar is tracked and kept on a defined micropropagation schedule, so restarts are reliable and availability is predictable.

When To Use It

  • Reduce or replace mother-room footprint
  • Create insurance against outages, resets, or contamination events
  • Standardize cultivars across sites with uniform restarts
  • Plan seasonal runs and keep call-ups within reach
  • You just completed Clean and want to protect the baseline

How It Works

  • Establish: We log the line with a unique ID and onboard it into our in vitro micropropagation system. Lines from Clean onboard directly; lines from other labs proceed after third-party lab clean-status confirmation.
  • Maintain: Cultivars are kept aseptically under highly controlled conditions, with scheduled third-party lab health checks and a defined micropropagation schedule that keeps call-ups and production planning predictable.
  • Track: Each cultivar carries a unique ID and an audit trail for traceability.
  • Call-up: On request, we generate the required number of propagules from the in vitro mother line, transfer them to rooting, and align finishing to your format and delivery window.
  • Deliver: You receive Gen-0 plantlets in your preferred format: ready for acclimatization (local) or shipped in culture tubes (non-local).
  • Sustain: The cultivar remains preserved  in vitro for future call-ups.

What It Is

Supply is our catalog of verified clean Gen-0 plantlets from two sources: the Renova Library (cultivars owned by Renova) and a Partner Catalog (select breeder collaborations). Every order is produced from in-lab lines kept in aseptic, highly controlled conditions and includes third-party lab verification.


Note: Client lines in Preserve remain private and are never listed or sold.

  • You need clean, uniform starters to ramp production
  • You’re standardizing cultivars across sites
  • You’re replacing or rebuilding mother stock quickly
  • You want to trial new cultivars with verified clean starts
  • You want consistent inputs without building an internal lab.

How It Works

  • Request: Tell us which cultivars you want from the Renova Library or Partner Catalog and request availability and a quote.
  • Confirm: We confirm format, quantity, and timing, then provide a written estimate with a target start window and milestones.
  • Produce and verify: We produce your order from our in vitro lines and include third-party lab verification.
  • Deliver: Receive Gen-0 plantlets in your preferred format: acclimatization-ready (local) or shipped in culture tubes (non-local).

Plant tissue culture is an umbrella term for laboratory methods that grow plant cells, tissues, and organs in vitro under aseptic, precisely controlled conditions. Applications include micropropagation, pathogen remediation, long-term in vitro storage and cryopreservation, somatic embryogenesis, callus and cell-suspension culture, and related techniques used in production, conservation, and research. 


At Renova, we focus on what helps your operation most: remediation to reset cultivars to a verified-clean baseline, in vitro storage to keep clean cultivars maintained off-site, and Gen-0 supply so you can order rooted, verified-clean starters on a schedule. Every delivery includes third-party lab verification.
 

“In vitro” literally means “in glass.” In science, it’s work done outside a living organism in lab vessels like tubes, jars, or plates. At Renova, it means growing plants on sterile, nutrient media under tightly controlled conditions, so we can preserve and supply verified clean Gen-0 plantlets with third-party lab verification, on schedule.

  • Clean resets a cultivar to a verified pathogen free baseline using meristem and micro shoot-tip culture.
     
  • Preserve keeps verified clean cultivars in vitro so you can call up plantlets when needed.
     
  • Supply lets you order verified clean Gen-0 plantlets from the Renova Library (our cultivars) or licensed partners. Client lines in Preserve are private and never listed for sale.

Third-party lab verification is integrated into projects and orders. We align the panel and cadence during scoping, then provide a verification summary with your delivery.
